New Photoscanned Log & Stump Models

August 08, 2021 by Guest User in Releases

Forests are full of chaos. The layered stages of life, death and decay overlap in magnitudes; which makes recreating realistic forests by hand extremely difficult, next to impossible. Scanned assets come with this chaos for free; whether you’re building a cabin in the woods or a nature viz, our new photoscanned stump and log models will make dressing your outdoor scenes easier, faster and more organic, letting you focus on lighting, story and composition.

In this release of 59 new assets, you’ll find cut stumps, broken stumps, burnt stumps, cut trees and naturally fallen logs.

  • 49 stumps

  • 10 logs

  • Up to 16K textures

  • 3D scanned using photogrammetry.

  • 6 LODs ranging from 5K to 5M polygons.

Beyond just raw photoscans, you’ll also find multiple LODs available in each file. Allowing you to render only what you need.

Our aim is to save you time, which means asset standardization. Special care was given to each stump and log in this release to ensure all maps are color calibration, delit with standardized bump and displacement amounts.
